Dr. Bayat is the head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Shariyati General Hospital. He is also the program director of residency training for the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Bayat’s training includes a fellowship in traumatology and orthognatic surgery from Maximilan University (Munich, Germany) and a certificate of community dental health from the Helsinki Dental School (Helsinki, Finland). He is also a diplomate of the Iranian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As an educator, Dr. Bayat has served as the Associate Dean of the Behshti Dental School, and on the Committee on Educational Planning in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Iran.
Dr. Bayat is a member of High Committee of Iranian Medical Council and a member of the Board of Directors of Medical Council Organization of Tehran. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Bayat leads the policy-making committee for providing maxillofacial services to the veterans of Iran.
